Two men invade Lakewood home, rob 81-year-old woman of jewelry
An elderly woman was robbed inside her Lakewood home early Wednesday morning by two men who used brute force.
The 81-year-old woman called authorities at 12:13 a.m. after she had been robbed at her home in the 11500 block of 215th Street.
She told Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies that two men entered her home and forced her to give up her jewelry.
“No weapons were used by the suspects during the robbery,” according to the Sheriff’s Department.
The men fled and had not been found when the department released information about four hours later.
