LAPD seeks hit-and-run driver who killed 90-year-old man on bike

Los Angeles police Tuesday night were seeking help from the public in finding a hit-and-run driver who killed a 90-year-old man riding a bicycle.

Joo Yoon was struck in a marked crosswalk at 6th Street and Virgil Avenue in the Westlake District about 5:10 a.m. on April 27, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

A video posted on YouTube by the LAPD shows Yoon being struck by the car.

The vehicle is described as a newer model gun metal or dark grey Nissan GT-R with a 3-inch racing stripe running from the fender to the tail light area, police said.

Police said the driver is believed to be an Asian man who is about 25 years old with black hair and brown eyes. He is about 5-feet 9-inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.

Yoon was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
