April showers? In L.A., just more April heat in forecast
Forget April showers. Southern California will continue to experience warmer-than-normal temperatures for the next few days, with highs reaching the 90s in some areas.
According to the National Weather Service, downtown L.A. is expected to hit 85 degrees Tuesday, with Pasadena, Palmdale and other locations getting into the low 90s. It will be even hotter in inland cities such as Palm Springs.
Coastal cities will be in the mid-70s.
The heat spike should end later this week.
