Southbound lanes of 101 Freeway in Hollywood blocked by big-rig crash
Traffic on the southbound 101 Freeway was snarled Tuesday afternoon in Hollywood after a big-rig crash involving four other vehicles.
The crash occurred about 3 p.m. under the Santa Monica Boulevard overpass on the southbound 101, California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball said. All lanes were initially blocked, but one lane had been reopened by about 4 p.m., according to the CHP.
Three people were taken to hospitals, said Katherine Main of the Los Angeles Fire Department. Their conditions were unavailable.
