A man's "badly decomposed" body was found early Thursday in a storm drain on the southbound 605 Freeway in Lakewood.

A worker for the California Department of Transportation discovered the body about 1:30 a.m. in the storm drain at Carson Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
