One killed, two injured in rollover crash near Dodger Stadium

One person was killed and two others injured Friday in a rollover car crash near Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles fire officials said.

News video from the crash scene showed a white sport utility vehicle on its side and the body of a victim covered in a white sheet next to the vehicle in the 800 block of West Academy Road.

Two passengers in the SUV were ejected and were being interviewed by authorities, fire spokesman Bryan Humphrey said. The extent of their injuries was not known.

Police were first on the scene and alerted paramedics about 8:15 a.m., Humphrey said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. It was not immediately clear if any other vehicles were involved.
