Single-vehicle crash after midnight in city of Industry kills driver

A motorist was killed early Sunday in a single-vehicle crash in the city of Industry, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 1:45 a.m. near the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Proctor Avenue, according to a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver, whose name hasn't been released, was the only person in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

There was no other information immediately available about the crash. An investigation into the cause is continuing.
