Man found shot to death in East Los Angeles
A man was found shot to death in East Los Angeles early Saturday morning, authorities said.
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 1400 block of South Woods Place around 6:18 a.m., said spokeswoman Sgt. Diane Hecht.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies and detectives are still investigating the crime, and there was no information immediately available about weapons, suspects or possible motives.
Five people have been shot and killed in the East Los Angeles neighborhood of L.A. County this year, according to the Los Angeles Times’ Homicide Report.
