Los Angeles police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of an elderly couple and their adult son after their bodies were found inside a Wilshire-area apartment on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
An apartment manager found the bodies of the three people inside their apartment in the 1100 block of Crenshaw Boulevard after entering the unit to check on a foul odor, police said. Detectives were called to the scene about 3 p.m.
Police said the adult son may have killed himself, but it has not been determined how the elderly couple died.
Police are not releasing the names of the deceased until next of kin have been notified. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the case to call West Bureau homicide detectives at 213-382-9470.
