Police said the crash occurred about 9:20 p.m. when a Lexus driven by Granados ran a red light and broadsided a Honda at Bristol Street and Central Avenue. The impact sent the Honda careening into a pickup truck.

An 18-year-old passenger in the Honda, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The car’s driver and two other passengers were injured and had to be extricated from the wreckage.

All of the injured were taken to hospitals.
