One person was killed after crashing into a utility pole in West Hollywood on Thursday morning, shutting down a stretch of Sunset Boulevard.

The single-car crash happened at Sunset and Larrabee Street, said Sgt. Lance Eddins of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The crash closed Sunset between San Vicente Boulevard and Horn Avenue. That stretch will be closed until 2 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
