Girl’s bloodcurdling screams heard in video as she fights off would-be kidnapper

Police have released a terrifying video from Northern California of a 17-year-old girl screaming as a would-be kidnapper tries to pull her into his car while she's walking to school.

Stockton police are now looking for the man who tried to abduct the young girl early Friday morning in the area of Iverness Way and Fox Creek Drive.

The girl was walking past her vehicle toward her high school when the man jumped out of the car and tried to pull her inside, police said.

In the surveillance video taken from a home, the girl’s loud and frightening shrieks could be heard as she fights for her life. At one point, she cries, “Oh my God.”

The girl was able to escape and ran back home as the man drove away from the area. The video shows the man’s car fleeing the neighborhood.

The man was described as Latino or Asian with brown eyes, in his 20s, 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-9 and 180-to-190 pounds. He was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, white shoes and possibly a ski mask. He drove a vehicle described as a late 1980s or early 1990s, silver or gold, four-door Honda or Toyota.
