Police in Glendale were searching Monday for two men wanted for stealing thousands of dollars of electronics and other items from three churches and a YMCA.

Video footage released by police showed a man wearing a T-shirt and jeans entering the property of the L.A. Christian Church on Lowell Avenue on March 20 and walking around the grounds for more than an hour, KTLA reported.

The man eventually pries open the church office door and then, in an apparent effort to go unseen, turns surveillance camera around, according to the Glendale Police Department.

On the video, the man holds a white cloth in his hand as he handles items and rummages through drawers.

Police said he also broke into the Central Christian Church next door, where he burglarized the main office.

Both churches have experienced numerous burglaries and thefts of electronic items in the past, police said.

A second man was being sought for allegedly burglarizing a YMCA on Louise Street and stealing boxes of candy, money and a $1,600 guitar, according to Glendale police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.

The same man then allegedly broke into the First United Methodist Church on North Kenwood Street.

Anyone with information on either man is urged to contact the Glendale Police Department at (818) 548-2097.
