Handcuffed narcotics suspect escapes Anaheim emergency room
Police are searching for a handcuffed suspect who escaped from an emergency room Wednesday.
Nazim Amett Polanco, 19, was arrested by Buena Park police for felony narcotics and theft-related charges and was later taken to West Anaheim Medical Center after complaining he was injured, KTLA 5 reported.
Polanco allegedly ran out of the emergency room during treatment onto Beach Boulevard and has yet to be tracked down by police.
He was described as Latino, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 140 pounds with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing black jeans and a blue shirt. Buena Park police urged anyone with information to call (714) 562-3902.
