Los Angeles County coroner’s officials released the name of the third man who died in a quadruple shooting Friday in Harbor Gateway that killed three and left one wounded.

Authorities identified the third victim as Courtney George Murray, 44. The other two who died were Laurent Kenroy Latty, 33, of and Dwayne Damion Cover, 33. All three were from Torrance.

Officials said police received a 911 call about 5:35 a.m. Friday from a resident who reported hearing eight or nine gunshots in an apartment building in the 1600 block of West 205th Street. Officers found three of the victims there.

About a block away, police found a fourth shooting victim, covered in blood and walking near Del Amo Boulevard and Western Avenue, said Officer Christopher No. That person was listed in serious condition at a hospital, LAPD Capt. Nancy Lauer said.

Authorities said a red Dodge Charger and a gray Ford Explorer were seen speeding away from the scene. No arrests have been made.

The attack did not appear to be random, police said, and investigators are looking into whether a dispute over drugs led to the shooting.

“This is not gang-related, this is not race-related,” Sgt. Rudy Lopez said. “It appears all the individuals knew each other. It was an argument gone wrong.”

The neighborhood is a mix of houses and apartment buildings, most of them surrounded by wrought-iron fences and many with flowers in the frontyard.

Police said residents in the neighborhood have nothing to fear.

“There is no additional danger to the community members in the area,” LAPD Capt. Nancy Lauer told reporters Friday morning.
