Los Angeles police responded to a Hollywood restaurant Monday night after someone used a cellphone to shoot video footage of Justin Bieber.

Officers went to Dave & Buster’s restaurant after a report that someone from Bieber’s security team may have taken the cellphone, but the report was not true, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

“There’s been no theft, no scuffle and no crime occurred,” Officer Sara Faden told The Times.

The incident was reported around 9:30 p.m. at the popular restaurant in the 6800 block of Hollywood Boulevard.

In May, a woman accused Bieber of snatching her cellphone.

The woman alleged she was with her 13-year-old daughter at the Sherman Oaks Castle Park miniature golf course and batting cages on May 12 when Bieber accused her of recording him with her cellphone.

Los Angeles police investigated that incident. In June, the city attorney’s office declined to file misdemeanor charges against the 20-year-old Canadian performer.
