Join Times Staff Writer Jason Felch at 9 a.m. Thursday for a discussion about President Obama’s launch of a federal task force to combat sexual assault on college campuses.

On Wednesday, Obama told the estimated one in five women who are victims, “I’ve got your back.” The White House also released a report showing that 22 million women and girls across the country have been sexually assaulted.

College was identified as an especially risky place, in part because campus rapists are often repeat offenders.

Felch will talk about the new task force, increasing student activism surrounding the issue and what the next steps are.

During the chat, readers can submit their questions and comments and we’ll get to as many of them as we can.

See you at 9 a.m. for L.A Now Live.
