One person was killed and two others were wounded in three separate shootings Monday morning in Los Angeles, including at a Hollywood nightclub.

“There’s been a lot of shootings this morning,” said Los Angeles police officer Christopher No.

The latest violence was in Arlington Heights, where a Latino man was shot several times about 4:16 a.m. in the 2300 block of 9th Avenue.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating the slaying as gang-related.

About a half hour earlier in Vermont Knolls, one man was shot as he rode his bicycle. A Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said a 27-year-old black man was riding his bike along South Hoover Street and West Manchester Avenue when someone drove by and shot him.

At least one bullet struck the man in the back. The vehicle fled; no description of the suspect was immediately available. The man was in stable condition at a hospital. The incident may have been gang-related, police said.

In Hollywood, one man was reported in critical but stable condition after being shot inside My Studio nightclub at 6623 Hollywood Blvd. Police said the shooting happened inside the bar about 1 a.m. No arrests were made and no one else was injured.
