The owner of a nail salon in Orange is facing pandering and pimping charges for allegedly inducing an employee to agree to perform sex acts with an undercover police officer posing as a customer.
The charges against Cam Da Le, 47, of Garden Grove, stem from an April 30 sting operation involving the Orange County district attorney office's Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit, the agency said in a statement.
Le allegedly instructed an employee to perform "commercial sex acts," the statement said. Le also is accused of taking the payment and allowing the employee to keep only tips.
If convicted, Le faces a maximum of six years in prison.
