A suspected drunk driver was arrested after he crashed his vehicle into another car in North Hills early Sunday, killing three people and leaving a fourth critically injured, authorities said.

Riley John Holman, 19, of Mission Hills was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, said Officer Jim Hahn of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The crash occurred about 2:50 a.m. in the 8300 block of North Haskell Avenue, authorities said, when Holman plowed his 2004 Jeep Liberty into the 1993 Toyota Corolla carrying the four victims.

The suspect, who suffered minor injuries, was alone in his car when it struck the victims’ vehicle, which was traveling westbound. Two men died at the scene, with the third pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, said Lt. Fred Corral of the coroner’s office. Those who died were described only as three men in their 20s.

The fourth victim was transported to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition, authorities said.
