Amber Alert issued for toddler girl taken in Placentia
The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert on Wednesday for a 2-year-old girl believed to have been kidnapped by her father from a Placentia hotel.
Natalia was reportedly taken from the Best Western hotel on Orangethorpe Avenue about 4:30 a.m. after what Placentia police described as a “domestic violence incident.”
The child’s father is described as a 35-year-old man of Romanian descent who is 6-feet-2, weighs about 290 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. He threatened to take his daughter out of the state, police said.
He is believed to be driving a blue 2012 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, California license plate number 80742A1.
Anyone with general information about the case is asked to call the CHP at (949) 559-7888, but anyone who sees the man, girl or truck is urged to call 911 immediately, the CHP said.
