Winning $425-million Powerball ticket sold at Bay Area gas station

A Powerball ticket sold at a Bay Area gas station is the sole winner of a $425-million jackpot in the multistate lottery game, officials said.

The Dixon Landing Chevron gas station in Milpitas will receive $1 million for selling the ticket with all six winning numbers, California Lottery spokesman Alex Traversol said after Wednesday night's drawing.
