Reader photo: Calm after the quake
After the 5.1 earthquake struck near La Habra last month, Rachelle Mendez took her boys outside to play.
This shot of her 5-year-old was taken at a hillside park just behind their La Habra house, which was near the epicenter. She used a Canon EOS 6D.
“After a weekend of earthquakes, plaster cracks and broken glass, it was nice to go outside and take a deep breath of the fresh air,” Mendez said.
