When Ron Burch was getting ready for his morning jog around Silver Lake Reservoir on June 2, he spotted this car.
“Seeing this painted car kind of brought L.A. car culture and L.A. street art culture together for me,” Burch said.
“For most people out here, their cars are an extension of who they are, whether they’re artists, bankers or teachers. And as a BMW has a lot to say about the studio executive who is driving it, the artist car does the same. And if you are the artist, it’s not a bad way to advertise your work. Besides, we have food trucks; why not art cars?,” Burch said.
