Deputy, suspect wounded by gunfire in Santa Clarita
A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy and a suspect were wounded by gunfire late Tuesday in Santa Clarita, authorities said.
Both were taken to a hospital for treatment, but it’s unclear how badly they were injured, according to Deputy Kelvin Moody.
The shooting occurred about 10:30 p.m. on the 21300 block of Bottletree Lane, authorities said.
It was unclear what led to the shooting.
