A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department bus carrying dozens of inmates got into an accident on the 5 Freeway on Wednesday.

A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department bus carrying 43 inmates was in an accident on the 5 Freeway in the Newhall area Wednesday night, but no injuries were reported, authorities said.
The accident was on the southbound side of the freeway near Roxford Street and involved at least one other vehicle, the California Highway Patrol said.
The vehicles were on the right-side shoulder, Officer Alex Rubio said. The roadway was cleared shortly after 10 p.m.
Officers were investigating. No other details were immediately available.
