Last ‘supermoon’ of summer 2014 captivates spectators online
Monday’s full Harvest moon and third and final “supermoon” of the summer had people all over the planet looking up and into their phones as they tried to get the perfect shot.
A supermoon occurs when the moon turns full during its perigee -- that is, when it’s the closest to Earth during its orbit.
