V. Stiviano was attacked by two men as she left a New York City restaurant on Sunday night, her lawyer has reported to news sources.

Stiviano, whose recording of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s comments about African Americans led to his banishment from the NBA, was assaulted about 7 p.m. by two men near the Gansevoort Hotel, her attorney Mac Nehoray said.

Nehoray told CNN that the 31-year-old’s face was swollen as a result of the attack, and that she had not yet filed a police report because “she had to get out of there.”

He told Radar Online that Stiviano had been attacked by two white men “who called her the N word.”
