Pregnant woman stabbed to death on street in Venice Beach
A pregnant woman was stabbed to death in Venice Beach on Monday night following an altercation with three people, police said.
The woman, who was three months’ pregnant and has a 3-year-old daughter, was stabbed about 9:30 p.m. near Windward and Pacific avenues, according to NBC4. Police said she was in a a fight with two women and a man when she was stabbed.
The woman was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead, the LAPD said. Police identified the victim on Tuesday as 22-year-old Jasmine Preciado.
Police are looking for a dark-colored SUV that was seen leaving the area at the time of the slaying.
