To anyone else at the Tustin Ranch Golf Course that day, the man in the black suit may not have looked out of place. But as a wedding unfolded on the grounds, police say, images captured him stealing a box full of gift cards and money meant for the bride and groom.

Now, the Tustin Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man behind the theft, which occurred about 5:15 p.m. Saturday.

Tustin police posted photos of the man on their Facebook account.

In the pictures, the man is seen walking away carrying something. Authorities said the item was the box that contained several gift cards and cash from a wedding that was taking place at the golf course.

The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern man between 25 and 35 years old and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black suit with a gray shirt.

The estimated loss was unknown. A spokesman for Tustin police could not immediately be reached for comment.

Anyone who may know the man or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Tustin police detectives at (714) 573-3250.
