An Orange County woman pleaded guilty Thursday to sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy who played on a relative’s hockey team.

It was the second time Kathia Maria Davis, 46, has been convicted of sexually assaulting a member of the hockey team. The Laguna Niguel woman was found guilty last August of having unlawful sexual contact with a 16-year-old hockey player.

On Thursday, Davis pleaded guilty to four felony counts of lewd acts on a child and two misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to a statement from the Orange County district attorney’s office.

Davis, who is set to be sentenced in July, faces a maximum of seven years and eight months in state prison and registering as a lifetime sex offender, prosecutors said.

Prosecutors said Davis met the boys through a teenage relative’s hockey team.

Prosecutors said Davis invited her relative and the 14-year-old to drink alcohol at a sleepover, and she sexually assaulted the boy after he fell asleep.

With the 16-year-old, prosecutors said, she had sex with him on four occasions in her bedroom. She gave the teen alcohol, and on one occasion encouraged the boy and a teenage girl to drink at a party at her house.

The 16-year-old told his mother about the relationship and the drinking, and the allegations were reported to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, which launched an investigation.
