Southland residents react to Ringling Bros.’ decision to drop elephant acts

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey has scrapped its elephant acts, a longtime target of animal rights protests, and will allow 13 traveling-circus elephants to retire. Some Southland residents are unhappy with the decision.
