'Lust, Caution' (2007)

Director Ang Lee's "Lust, Caution" got an NC-17 rating by using the sexual positioning of its main characters (Tony Leung and Tang Wei) to depict the evolution of their relationship, one that ends with their limbs, and more, entwined. It's one of the rare movies from a mainstream studio (Focus) or director in recent years to come out as an NC-17 instead of cutting or going unrated. See full story
