Reader Photo: Man-made wave

Share

Last week, Hunter Eckert visited the 204’s beach in San Clemente (the number refers to a railroad marker near the beach) to shoot photos of the surfers and scenery.

The natural waves were not what he was looking for, so he decided to take matters (or in this case, water) into in his own hand and create one.

“I feel this photo can convey a strong message that you cannot wait for opportunities to come to you,” he said. “Sometimes you must create them yourself.”

Eckert made this photo using a GoPro Hero 4 Black on Aug. 2.
