Sparky Anderson

The Hall of Fame manager of the Cincinnati Reds and the Detroit Tigers was the first baseball manager to lead teams from both the National and American leagues to World Series titles. He began in the majors by guiding a young Cincinnati team to become the Big Red Machine in the 1970s. He was 76.
