Pizza pioneer

PIZZA PIONEER: Ed LaDou shows a pizza topped with lemon-grilled eggplant, goat cheese and arugula at his Caioti restaurant in April. LaDou was a chef at Prego in San Francisco and Wolfgang Puck's Spago, and helped dream up the menu for California Pizza Kitchen - including the famous barbecue chicken.
