What’s on the West L.A. VA campus?

Share

A private school, a hotel laundry and a television studio are among those that, over the years, have leased space from the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs campus. The VA is moving some of those renters off the 388-acre property as part of the agency's plan to transform the campus into a "veteran-centric" residential community. But other tenants, including UCLA's baseball stadium, the Brentwood School's athletic complex and the city's Barrington dog park and ball fields, are negotiating to stay in exchange for offering fair market rents and veteran access to facilities and programs.

Draft master plan is unveiled for long-neglected VA campus in West L.A.
