Top EDM and DJ shows coming to San Diego this month include Gareth Emery, Seven Lions, LED Anniversary VI and Elephante.

2.2 Illenium

In December, Denver-based DJ/producer Nick Miller released 15 remixes from his early 2016 full-length, “Ashes.” He’ll hit San Diego on his worldwide tour of the same name.

2.4 Audien

From the same town portrayed in the film Mystic Pizza, Connecticut producer Nate Rathbun hit No. 1 on the U.S. Dance Chart with “Insomnia” last year. He released the single “Crazy Love (feat. Deb’s Daughter)” through Astralwerks in August.

2.4 Gareth Emery

The British DJ released his massive, 37-track “Electric for Life 2016” mix in December. It followed the release of his third full-length studio album, “100 Reasons to Live,” in April of last year.

2.10 Cosmic Gate

The German DJ duo of Claus Terhoeven (aka Nic Chagall) and Stefan Bossems (aka DJ Bossi) released their seventh studio album, “Materia Chapter.One,” last month.

2.17 Yellow Claw

Yellow Claw went through some major changes in 2016, paring down from a trio to a duo. But Dutch DJs Jim Taihuttu (aka Jim Aasgier) and Nils Rondhuis (aka Nizzle) were also featured on DJ Snake’s hit album “Encore” and closed the year by dropping new single “Love & War (feat. Yade Lauren).”

2.17 Seven Lions

After hitting the top spot on Billboard’s U.S. Dance Chart with his fifth EP, “Creation,” Santa Barbara-based DJ/producer/musician Jeff Montalvo (aka Seven Lions) has released the singles “Rush Over Me” with Illenium and “Cold Skin” with Echos.

2.19: LED Anniversary VI

After collaborating with Skrillex and Was So Not on the single “Waiting” in November, L.A. producer RL Grime headlines another all-night, 18+ party at the Valley View Casino Center. Dutch DJ Laidback Luke helps to round out a roster that also includes Lost Kings, Ghastly, and others.

2.19 Jauz

L.A.’s Sam Vogel is currently on his Off The Deep End tour. In the last few months, the young DJ and producer has remixed artists as varied as The Chainsmokers, Passion Pit, MØ and DJ Snake.

2.19 Zomboy

British DJ/producer Josh Mellody released his sixth EP, “Neon Grave,” last year on London’s Never Say Die Records. He also dropped a pair of singles and remixed Bro Safari and The Chainsmokers.

2.23 Vicetone

Dutch production duo/DJs Ruben Den Boer and Victor Pool spent 2016 remixing The Weeknd and Bob Marley, as well as releasing their debut EP, “Aurora.” Their collaboration with Youngblood Hawke, “Landslide,” is out now.

2.24 Sander Van Doorn

The Dutch DJ (what is it about the Netherlands, anyway?) recently got married, but that isn’t keeping him from behind the decks. New track “Need to Feel Loved” with LVNDSCAPE came out last month.

2.25 Keys N Krates

The Toronto-based DJ/electronic/percussion trio of David Matisse, Adam Tune and Jr. Flo are signed to Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak and released the remixes to their fifth EP, “Midnite Mass,” last year.

2.25 Elephante

Harvard grad Tim Wu quit his consulting job at management consulting firm McKinsey to start making music. Good thing it worked out. The DJ/producer released the remixes to his debut EP, “I Am The Elephante,” in December.
