More than 30 area restaurants, pubs, breweries and beer-related businesses will be tapping into the excitement with live music, giveaways, tours, tastings, rare beer releases and brewing classes at Keystone Homebrew Supply in Bethlehem.
Founder Jesse Albertson, general manager of Fegley's Bre Works, reports that "tap takeovers" — replacing a venue's regular taps with offerings from a single brewery — are popular among participants. "It's a good way to expand your tastes and try beers you might not otherwise order," he says. Featured companies include Sixpoint Brewery, Oskar Blues Brewery and Victory Brewing.
