Deven Jackson, 8, of Shermansdale gets a kiss from his father David Jackson as mother Michelle Jackson looks on. Deven recently lost both legs to a form of meningitis that resulted in infection. Lehigh Valley Hospital's amputee support group arranged for Deven to receive many gifts that carry the name of his favorite team, the NY Giants. Deven has been inspired by Jerod Minich, 43, who is also a double amputee who lives a perfectly normal life.
