"Look Good...Feel Better"

cancer patients in the "Look Good...Feel Better Program"  in the John and Dorothy Morgan Cancer Center at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Salisbury Township on Monday. The free program was developed by  the American Cancer Society, the Personal Care Products Council Foundation, the National Cosmetology Association-Professional Beauty Association.  The program is a community-based service that teaches female cancer patients beauty techniques to restore their appearance during chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Volunteer beauty professionals lead small groups, through practical, hands-on experience. Women learn about makeup techniques, skincare, nail care, and options related to hair loss such as wigs, turbans, and scarves. Each participant receives a free kit of cosmetics for use during and after the workshop
