Gene Duffy

Gene Duffy, of Jim Thorpe, poses in front of Jim Thorpe's Old Carbon County Prison with his rescue dog, Charlie, an eight year old Australian Cattle Dog that he found at a roadside rest stop in California. Gene has written a book about his ten years working at a Jewish Deli in Hollywood California, titled "As The Matzo Ball Turns" while pursuing an acting career. He jokes of it being an aspiring actors ten year encounter with hit men, celebrities and old jewish ladies. Gene, who grew up in Jim Thorpe, is currently living near the Old Carbon County Jail where the Molly Maguire labor movement executions took place.
