National Park Service biologist Amanda J. Stein, discusses the impact of utility right-of-ways in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area, along Community Drive in Middle Smith Field Township, Monroe County, on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. PPL Corp. and PSEG of New Jersey will, at the end of this month, have won approval to build the controversial Susquehanna-Roseland 500k transmission line through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area - the closest thing to a national park anywhere near the Lehigh Valley.
