Nearly 10 years after Mick Gjevukaj launched River Grille in downtown
"My mantra is: simplicity, simplicity, simplicity executed to perfection," he says. "We will forever strive to produce food that is simple, honest and good, matched with service that is straightforward, unfussy and unpretentious."
Modern and timeless, River Grille sets a super-stylish stage for casually sophisticated lunch and dinner dining. Chef Nathan Roth's American-style bistro menu embraces global flavors and puts an emphasis on local and sustainable ingredients.
"This movement has gained tremendous momentum in the past several years and I believe it is a significant factor in the future of the restaurant industry," says Gjevukaj, who is looking to expand his restaurants into Bethlehem and central New Jersey.
As a thank-you to its loyal clientele, the restaurant is offering $8.95 lunch features on weekdays and $25 three-course prix fixe dinners that include porchetta, New York strip steak au poivre, roasted chicken or blackened tilapia as main dishes.
Details on multiple options of appetizer, salad and entree are on the website.
The restaurant is also one of 13 restaurants participating in Easton Restaurant Week, which runs Jan. 20-26.
