Seductive sippers

Love it or hate it, Valentine's Day is the perfect excuse to stop by your favorite watering hole. After all, a lonely heart's best friend is usually behind the bar. Try one of these lustful libations and you might just find true love.

Cupid martinis, $12
Romance is in the air at Encore, where you can order a pair of matching 'tinis. Awwww! Made with Remy Red, peach schnapps and pineapple juice with a sugar rim and served with chocolate-dipped strawberries, these his-and-her bevs will definitely get you in the mood. Bonus: Stop in on Saturday for live jazz (with no cover) starting at 8 p.m.

Valentine Martini-gram, $12
Sending drinks over to the hottie across the bar is so played out. But Le Bar is upping the ante, adding little love notes to every Red Hot Passion martini you buy . Nothing says hi quite like a "I'm lusting for you" note. Not interested in someone? Buy a "Sheer Innocence" vanilla martini for the person you just couldn't turn down--the drink will take care of the deed with a "Let's be friends!" message. So maybe the recipient won't get a date, but at least he or she will be left with a tasty cocktail. Thursday-Monday.

Show up at 8 p.m. for the hour-long champagne reception, and don't miss the Effen vodka and appetizer reception from 10-11 p.m. 8 p.m.-2 a.m.

Quickie, $8
Wanna really get around this Valentine's Day weekend? Head to Coobah for a Quickie (made with Corzo tequila, Grand Marnier and strawberry nectar in a sugar-rimmed glass) and a Roll in the Hay (pork tenderloin stuffed with shrimp, bacon, coconut and pineapple, part of the $45 three-course Valentine's menu). Is it just us or is this a lot like our last date?

Heartbreaker, $4
So it's yet another Valentine's Day and you're dateless again? Oh, quit whining and make it all better with a Heartbreaker shot at Sean's Rhino Bar. This potent concoction is made with UV Blue (an electric blue, raspberry-flavored vodka), Bacardi Limon, lemonade and grenadine. 2 p.m.-3 a.m. Friday.

That's Amore, $9
If you're a fan of the holiday (and Hallmark cards), then this ultra-sweet sipper at Lion's Head Pub/The Apartment is for you. The mix of Stoli Vanil, amaretto, peach schnapps and orange juice are served up in a martini glass with a scoop of raspberry sherbert.
