Sultan's Market
"The falafel sandwiches are great and the soups are amazing! Very friendly people work there as well."
-- J.P.

Earl's
"When this place opened, I thought to myself, 'Great, another sandwich place--whoopie.' Seeing sandwiches prewrapped in boxes almost turned me off for good. One day, however, I decided to try one; the fact is their plain-old sandwiches in boxes are just about perfect. They are surprisingly hearty when you open them up."
-- R.C.

Cold Comfort Cafe
"We love Cold Comfort! It is a best-kept secret that I hate to reveal, but I cannot resist. Everything on the menu is fabulous, but our favorites include the most delicious Reuben you have ever tried. The potato salad is wonderful, and the staff is friendly and very cool."
-- Chrissy L.

Calliope Cafe
"This is the best sandwich place in Chicago. The killer chili was excellent and the homemade meatloaf sandwich was delicious! Each sandwich is unique and comes with great homemade chips. Reasonably priced and a nice friendly atmosphere. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed."
-- Stephen D. "Each sandwich at the table was better than the next. The homemade potato chips were delicious as well. A brightly colored, cheerful place; tasty food and a friendly staff."
-- Hank W.

Wikstrom Scandinavian-American Gourmet Foods
"This place is great! The custom sandwiches make a great lunch. Their deli meat and cheeses taste better than other places' and are a better deal."
-- H.C.

La Milanese Special Deli
"This place has the best meatball and breaded steak sandwiches in the city. Great place."
-- M.L.

Milk and Honey Cafe
"I went to Milk and Honey for Sunday brunch and thought it was great. The avocado and smoked Gouda sandwich is fantastic. Great baked goods, too. It is a little pricey, but the portions are huge and well worth it."
-- Danielle M. "Excellent sandwiches for lunch. Very fresh ingredients and probably the best homemade potato chips I have had. Quick service and inviting decor."
-- C.W.

Firefly
"What a treat for anyone looking for something new and different in Boystown. The interior is very attractive and the booths create great atmosphere. Our server was friendly and the food was superb! The sandwiches are delicious. I went with a friend and we both ordered sandwiches and appetizers and ended up sharing everything. I will be returning soon."
-- C.B.

Northside Bar and Grill
I first went to Northside two years ago and I believe I had never tasted a better chicken, bacon and cheese sandwich. Becoming somewhat of a regular, I have since moved on to turkey burgers (which I hated before tasting Northside's version), garden burgers and the occasional big cheeseburger, which is great for hangovers. The food is so yum."
-- Shirley S.

Al's Deli
"Al's Deli is right around the corner from my apartment, and I am addicted. The butter cookies, tomato soup and blue cheese-roast beef sandwiches are to die for. We can't live without you, Al's!"
-- S.N.
