Famed comic book artist and writer Frank Miller translated his personal obsession with that historical period to the graphic novel "300." Then director and screenwriter Zack Snyder ("Dawn of the Dead") caught the bug and teamed up with Miller to produce the movie version, which comes out Friday, March 9.
