Gingrich goes to the moon

During a campaign stop in Florida, GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich proposed a settlement on the moon. "By the end of my second term, we will have the first permanent base on the moon and it will be American." In the debate that followed, his opponents took the opportunity to poke fun at his proposal. Ron Paul delivered this one-liner: "Well, I don't think we should go to the moon. I think we maybe should send some politicians up there," he said. Watch the video
