The horrific 2007 home invasion slayings of Connecticut mother Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her two daughters, Hayley and Michaela, resulted in a guilty verdict in October against 31-year-old Joshua Komisarjevsky. Jurors decided on the death penalty for Komisarjevsky in December. His accomplice, Steven Hayes, was convicted separately last year and sentenced to death.
