2013 news quiz: Is it real or is it the Onion?
Sometimes news is so surreal it exceeds satire. That would explain why some people can’t spot the joke when looking at headlines from news satire website the Onion. Can you differentiate truth from fiction in the following headlines (and some of the headlines are real, some are faux).
If not, don’t feel too bad. Others fall for fakes, too. All examples of Onion stories in this quiz were found at the website Literally Unbelievable, which collects examples from Facebook of people who took the site seriously.
